We’re reaching out on behalf of the organizers of the Socialist Party USA National Organizing Conference, taking place July 25–26 in Greensboro, NC, with full hybrid participation for members across the country. The theme this year is Organizing for Political Independence, and we would be honored to have you as one of our main speakers.Your work as an anti‑war veteran, your clarity on political independence, and your commitment to building working‑class power make you one of the most compelling voices speaking to these issues today. Members across the country have been following your congressional run and your organizing commentary, and your perspective would add real depth to the conversations we’re preparing for this year’s gathering.We would like to invite you to speak on Saturday evening, July 25, ideally around 6:30–7:00 PM ET. A 20–30 minute talk would be perfect, though you’re welcome to go longer if you feel it serves the moment. You can join online, but we would also be glad to work with you on transportation to Greensboro if you prefer to be there in person.This conference brings together organizers, rank‑and‑file workers, and local leaders who are serious about building durable structures and political independence. Your voice would help set the tone for the work ahead.
